On Saturday, 26 November 2016, CMCM hosted the 41th “Journée de la CMCM” in the presence of minister Romain Schneider. During this event, CMCM made a review on the year 2016 and presented the new contributions for 2017.

On 10 August 2016, for the first time in its history, the CMCM signed a partnership agreement with the largest athletic federation in Luxembourg, the Luxembourg Football Federation (FLF), for the 2016-2017 and 2018-2019 seasons.
After 60 years of service, the CMCM decided in early 2016 to reorient its identity, reconsider its communication strategy and expand its services, all while maintaining the foundational values that are its strength: solidarity, family and mutual aid.
